AUTO ON AND OFF: Dusk-to-dawn photocell activates at nightfall and powers off in the daylight. Auto-on when motion is detected in the night, auto-off after pre-determined time when no further motion is detected. There will be NO "false" detection with this light. Sensing light levels and motion are with a range of 180 degrees and out to 50 feet when being wall mounted 8 feet high.

CUSTOMER NOTICE: This led security light is designed to be wall-mounted (Mounting Vertically), while being mounted under the eave (Mounting Horizontally) might impact its performance. Power source for this motion sensor light: electric-powered. This waterproof led security light is able to protect against low-pressure water jet spray. However, it cannot be put underwater.

THREE WORKING MODES FOR YOUR NEEDS:

TEST MODE (Works by day or at night): Set-up: Move the pointer to the Test position. Function: Testing the light before the first use or after maintenance. Auto-on when motion is detected and auto-off 3-7 seconds after no further motion whether by DAY or at NIGHT.

MOTION SENSOR/AUTO MODE (Only works at night): Set-up: Move the pointer to the 1, 5 or 10-minute position. Function: Only works at night. If people or any other living objects pass through the sensing area, the light will be on automatically for 1, 5 or 10 minutes preset and off when no further motion has been detected.

MANUAL OVERRIDE MODE (Only works at night): Set-up: Move the pointer to the 1, 5 or 10 minutes, and then flip the light switch off for one second then back on to toggle between AUTO and MANUAL mode. Function: If you need constant lighting at night, it could be set to 8 hours constant lighting work mode temporarily. NOTE: There is NO all night long feature for this light. The manual override mode should be reset every night if you prefer the constant lighting or it goes back to the MOTION SENSOR MODE automatically after 8-hour constant lighting or when the dawn is coming.
